Questions and answers

What you can make, what it costs, and how it works.

Straight answers about every studio, in one place. Everything here is what SceneRender does today; when something changes, this page changes with it.

What you can make

Who it is for, and what comes out.

Who is this for?
Anyone with something to show: real estate agents with listing photos, sellers on Amazon, Etsy, eBay and Shopify, small businesses that need a promo, creators who want a short story or a talking clip, and anyone who wants a picture made from a description. You do not need a camera, an editor or any software; every studio runs in the browser and walks you through its steps.
What kinds of videos can I make?
A narrated listing walkthrough from a home's photos (Listing Studio). A 15–90 second product review, demo or promo built scene by scene from your product photos and a script you shape (Product Studio). A listing pack for a marketplace: main and secondary images, A+ tiles, pins, copy and a short listing video, each checked against that marketplace's rules (Ad Studio). A standalone AI video from a prompt or a reference picture, five to fifteen seconds (Video Studio). A multi-scene story with your own media, speakers and dialogue, approved take by take (Clip Studio). A single picture from a description or from a photo you already have (Image Studio). And original music from your own words, a hook, a bed or a whole song, with or without singing, to use in what you post (Music Studio).
Can I make social media content and business promotions, not just product ads?
Yes. Product Studio and Clip Studio are built for exactly that: a script in your words, your own photos and clips where you have them, AI scenes where you do not, captions for people watching muted, a music bed, and cuts in the shapes each platform wants. A business promo is a product video where the product is the business.
Can I get examples first?
We are adding examples as we make videos we are allowed to show, starting with a listing video from a home we hold the rights to on the agents' page; we never show a customer's work without asking. Until then, the surest way to see what you would get is the welcome tokens: enough to make real pictures, and a first video for a few dollars.
Photos and videos

What works as a reference, and what does not.

What photos work best?
Sharp, well lit, and showing the thing plainly. For a listing, the photos a photographer took in walkthrough order; for a product, a clean shot on a plain background plus one or two in use; for a person or a pet, a close, front-on photo with the face clearly visible and nothing else in the frame. Screenshots, heavily filtered pictures and photos with text over them give the model less to hold on to.
What videos work as references?
Short, steady, and in the shape you want the result to be. Video Studio takes up to fifteen seconds of reference video in total (and bills a reference's seconds as input), Listing Studio will play a short, steady phone sweep through a room exactly as filmed, and Clip Studio uses your clips as scenes in their own right. A long, shaky or heavily edited clip is better trimmed to its best few seconds first.
Does the studio change my photos?
In Listing Studio, no: only the camera moves. The studio works out what is near and far in each photo so a pan or push-in has depth, but nothing in a room is redrawn, added or removed; what a buyer sees is the photo. The same holds for a real product video or clip you supply. AI scenes made from a reference picture are different: they are new footage that keeps the reference's look, and the model decides the details.
Can I make music I am allowed to use on TikTok?
Yes. Music Studio makes original tracks from your words: paste lyrics or let the studio write them, describe the sound, pick a length from 15 seconds to a full song and an engine (Quick, Standard, Rich or Premium; the price is on the button), and the track is yours to use in what you post, including TikTok, Reels and Shorts, with no library to license. Every track is new and AI-made, so you cannot ask for a real artist's sound or an existing song; the studio refuses those before anything is charged. Finished tracks download as MP3 and appear in the Editor's media list under Music Studio.
Can a photo become a moving video?
Yes, two ways. Listing Studio animates real photos with camera movement and depth, so the home is shown exactly as photographed. Video Studio takes a picture as a reference and makes new footage that keeps it looking like itself, with motion you describe: a kitten taking a step, leaves falling, a slow push in. A picture made in Image Studio has a "Make a video from this" button that opens Video Studio with it already attached.
What do you need from me for a full video or ad pack?
Photos of the thing, a few lines about it (or a marketplace listing to paste), a logo if you have one, and any clips you want used as filmed. The studio writes the script, and you edit it in your own words. Nothing is sent anywhere until you have seen the price and pressed the button.
You on screen

Your face, your voice, your likeness.

Can I be the presenter in my own video?
Yes. Product Studio and Clip Studio can make a presenter from photos of you (or of someone who has agreed), speaking lines from the script in one of the studio voices. You confirm the rights to the photos first, and the presenter stays with your account. The provider's safety checks are strict about real people, so a reference it turns down is turned down for good; a clear, front-on, well-lit photo helps.
Can it use my own voice?
Not at the moment. Narration is made in one of the studio voices, line by line, from the script you approved; you choose the voice once and can change it later. Cloning a customer's own voice is built and was offered early on, but the cost per video was too high to keep, so it is switched off until we can bring it back at a fair price. It is generated speech either way, so an unusual word or an address is worth spelling the way you want it said.
How realistic is a presenter?
Good enough for a product review or an explainer, not a film. Faces and voices are close; hands, fine text and fast movement are where today's models still slip. Every take is shown to you before it goes anywhere, and a take you do not like is simply not approved.
What about other people's likenesses?
Only with permission. The media rights page sets out what you confirm when you upload a face or a voice, and the studios ask for that confirmation before a presenter or a voice is made. We do not make presenters from public figures or from photos you do not have the rights to.
Prices

What it costs, and what moves the number.

How much does it cost?
You buy tokens; each studio shows its exact token price before every button. A picture is 15 tokens. A five-second AI video is 170 to 475 tokens depending on the model, a fifteen-second one up to about 1,300. A narrated listing video with the agent intro and music is about 350–450 tokens. The $10 Starter bundle is 1,000 tokens, about two listing videos or five image packs, and larger bundles add bonus tokens. New accounts get 300 welcome tokens to try the studios.
What affects the price?
Length (a ten-second clip costs about twice a five-second one), the model (the newest video models cost the most per second), reference video (its seconds are billed as input), and how many scenes you make again. A failed generation is never charged; its tokens come back. Narration, captions, music beds, cuts for each platform and the finished download are included in the video's price.
Is there a turnaround time, or rush delivery?
No, because nothing is queued behind a person. A picture takes seconds, a scene a minute or two, a finished listing video a few minutes end to end. You watch it happen on the page, and the page updates by itself.
Can I request revisions?
You make them yourself, scene by scene. Change a line and that line's narration is made again; make a scene again and only that scene is charged; swap a photo and only the cuts are re-rendered. Nothing you have approved is touched unless you choose to. There is no revision fee, only the price of what you remake, shown before you do.
Can I get a quote, or an invoice?
Businesses that would rather have the work done for them, or that buy on invoice or purchase order, use the Business page. For everyone else the quote is on the button: every price is shown before it is spent, and there is no subscription.
Ownership

Who owns it, and where you can use it.

Can I use the videos commercially?
Yes. We claim no ownership of what is generated for your account, and you may use it in listings, ads, product pages, client work and social media. The terms set the details: AI output may not be copyrightable in every country, similar output can be generated for someone else, and you are responsible for the rights to what you upload and for how you use the result.
Who owns my photos and clips?
You do, as before. Uploading gives us only what is needed to make your videos and store your projects. Your files are private to your account, served through signed links, and removed when you delete a project or your account.
Are the videos marked as AI-made?
Where a platform requires it, yes: a clip posted to TikTok through the studio carries the AI-generated label, and ad packs include the disclosure each marketplace asks for. Listing videos made from real photos with camera movement only are shown as what they are: your photos, moving.
Formats and finish

Music, captions, branding and platforms.

What about music?
Every finished video can carry a music bed in a mood you pick (upbeat, calm, warm, bold, modern), levelled under the voice so the words always win, and set to the loudness platforms expect. The bed is generated for the video, so there is nothing to license and nothing a platform will mute.
Which shapes and platforms?
The same video is rendered into the shapes each platform wants: vertical 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, wide 16:9 for YouTube and a listing or product page, square 1:1 for feeds and marketplaces. A 1440p upload master is there for YouTube. Ad Studio prepares images and copy for Amazon, Etsy, eBay, Pinterest, Facebook & Instagram and TikTok, each checked against that marketplace's rules.
Captions and branding?
Captions are made from your approved narration, a few words at a time, placed where the platform's own controls will not cover them, because most people watch muted. Text styles add a headline, an offer badge or a web address in fixed, readable places, and a listing or product video ends on your card: name, brokerage or brand, contact.
Can it post for me?
Ad packs download as files ready to upload, and connected marketplace accounts post straight from the studio where the marketplace allows it. TikTok posting from the studio is on the way; until TikTok completes its review of the app, a clip is sent to your TikTok inbox and you post it from the app.
